Jared Chase

Jared Graham Chase is a conductor, teacher, and trumpet performer living in Rochester, NY.  He is a professor of music at Nazareth College and has taught at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, the Eastman School of Music, Bethany College, and Central State University.

The Roaring 20's: Rochester Chamber Winds

This is the first concert of a new professional chamber ensemble, the Rochester Chamber Winds conducted by Jared Chase. Works on this concert feature music from the 1920's including two works written in 1924 (the founding year of Nazareth College) by Eugene Goosens (former music director of the Rochester Philharmonic) Hans Gál, as well as Stravinsky's Octet for Wind Instruments Free and open to the public.
